McDonald's earnings for the third quarter is released

On Friday McDonald's (MCD) announced that its revenue increased for the current quarter since bringing the all-day breakfast on its menu as well as promotions such as "McPick 2 for $2" and healthier chicken McNuggets. Sales increased by more than 1.3% at all restaurants in the U.S, which accounts for more than 40% of the company's profit. McDonald's international outlets also exceeded growth expectations with a sales increase of 3.5% for companies operating for 13 months in the third quarter. As part of transforming the company into a more progressive and health friendly environment, CEO Steve Easterbrook has banned the use of chicken who have been raised on antibiotics, breakfast that is available for the whole day as well as creating friendlier and speedy service. During the afternoon shares for the company rose by 2.6% to $113.44 a share.
