Samsung halts sale of all Galaxy Note 7's

Samsung (SSNLF) has announced that it would halt production of its new Galaxy Note 7 after numerous reports of the phone catching fire.  Mobile network operator in the U.S and Australia said that they would no longer be replacements for the smartphone as they are weary over the safety of new replacements.  In August, Samsung recalled some 2.5 million smartphones after numerous complaints of batteries overheating which have led to fires.  Last week user from the U.S reported a replacement phone that caught fire and in the same week a Note 7 on a Southwest plane ignited which led to the flight being cancelled.
